General description
Isoamyl 4-methoxycinnamate is a derivative of cinnamon acid ester and may be used as a sunscreen agent since it acts as a waterproof filter for ultraviolet B (UVB) rays.
Application
Isoamyl 4-methoxycinnamate may be used as a reference standard in the determination of isoamyl 4-methoxycinnamate in water samples using liquid chromatography coupled with ultraviolet spectrophotometry detector (LC-UV).
