General description
Sulfameter is a long-acting sulfonamide, which is found to be effective on urinary and respiratory tract infections. It is often used for animal disease treatment and prevention.

Application
Sulfameter may be used as a reference standard in the determination of sulfameter in water samples and natural animal casings using solid phase extraction with high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with an ultraviolet detector (SPR-HPLC-UV).
