General description

1,5-Diaminonaphthalene is used in the production of 1,5-naphthalene diisocyanate and polyurethane elastomers.

Application

1,5-Diaminonaphthalene is used as an effective matrix in the analysis of IgG protein using top-down and middle-down mass spectrometry with multiple fragmentation techniques such as electron transfer dissociation (ETD) and matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization in-source decay (MALDI-ISD) method.
