Legionella (GVPC) Selective Supplement is a sterile, powdered antibiotic supplement designed for the selective isolation of Legionella species. It is formulated with glycine, vancomycin hydrochloride, polymyxin B sulfate, and cycloheximide, which inhibit the growth of accompanying flora, including Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, and fungi. The supplement is sufficient for 490 mL of medium.

Application

Legionella (GVPC) Selective Supplement is used inenvironmental, food and beverage, and microbiological testing for the selectiveisolation and enumeration of Legionella species. It is particularlysuitable for water quality testing and monitoring in compliance with ISOstandards.This product is ideal for laboratoriesconducting water quality testing, food safety analysis, and environmentalmonitoring for Legionella species.
