Application

Dimethyl methylphosphonate (DMPP) is generally used as a model compound for catalytic degradation studies due to its structural similarity to the organophosphorus compounds used in chemical warfare agents, pesticides and herbicides.
Used to test SXFA-coated SAW chemical sensors for organophosphorous compound detection
Used as a chemical agent simulant for testing of protective performance of PSS membranes and functionalized sorbent membranes

Reactant for photocatalytic oxidation

Additive for synthesis of:
  • Flame retardant high phosphorous containing unsaturated polyester resin
  • UV-cured epoxy acrylate / microencapsulated phase change material

We developed a chemiresistive sensor based on doped and functionalized semiconducting single-walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) networks for ultrasensitive and rapid detection of dimethyl methylphosphonate (DMMP) (simulant of nerve agent sarin) vapor. The semiconducting SWNT network was deposited between interdigitated electrodes
