General description

C. perfringens Millichrome plus Supplement 1 is a selective media supplement for the detection and enumeration of C. perfringens. Millichrome chromogenic media is a specialized type of culture medium used to detect and isolate specific groups of bacteria based on their ability to produce enzymes with chromogenic substrates. One vial (10 g) of the supplement is sufficient for 5 L of final media. The prepared supplement is added to the melted C. perfringens Millichrome plus Agar Base at 45-50 °C.

Application

C. perfringens Millichrome plus Supplement 1 is a selective chromogenic media supplement intended for use in the qualitative detection, differentiation and presumptive identification of C. perfringens from various samples

Packaging

1 vial à 10g (with screw cap) is sufficient for 5L
