Transition metal mix 3 can be used as a calibration standard in the determination of Ruthenium (Ru) and Osmium (Os) contents in half-sandwich Ru(II) and Os(II) complexes using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry method (ICP-MS).

100 mg/L: Ru, Rh, Pd, Os, Ir, Pt and Au in 10% hydrochloric acid.
