    • Biochem/physiol Actions

    Oxytocic, potent antagonist at smooth muscle serotonergic receptors.
    Oxytocic, stimulates contraction of uterine muscle; partial agonist at serotonergic and dopaminergic receptors in CNS; selective, potent antagonist at smooth muscle serotonergic receptors.
