    Phytomenadione is a synthetic lipid-soluble forms of vitamin K1, and works as an essential cofactor for the post-translational γ-carboxyglutamate (Gla) residues in several blood coagulation factors. It is used to treat coagulopathies caused by anticoagulant toxicosis.
