General description

TS Agar is a solid, selective, and differential medium for the isolation and presumptive identification of Clostridium perfringens. The medium does not contain cycloserine. The presence of sodium meta-bisulfite and ferric ammonium citrate allows differential characteristics, such as sulfite reduction and growth at 46°C, of this anaerobic species to be verified with just one assay.

TS Agar plates are the ready-to-use plates for the isolation and presumptive identification of Clostridium perfringens.
