Preparation Note

Solve 8 g in 1 litre distilled water. Autoclave 15 minutes at 121°C.
With beef extract and peptone.

Application

Nutrient broth has been used:
  • for culturing Azospirillum brasilense
  • for reconstitution of freeze dried Staphylococcus aureus culture
  • for culturing Pseudomonas aeruginosa NCIMB 8626
