General description

Amino analog of D-luciferin substrate for firefly luciferase activity. Useful in automated peptide synthesis for incorporation of amino-luciferin into synthetic peptides.

Application

Peptides containing an aminoluciferin become sensitive chemiluminescent substrates for their individual specific peptidase activity when luciferase is added.
