Application
Atto fluorescent labels are designed for high sensitivity applications, including single molecule detection. Atto labels have rigid structures that do not show any cis-trans-isomerization. Thus these labels display exceptional intensity with minimal spectral shift on conjugation. Atto 488 biotin is suitable for fluorescence labeling of avidin/streptavidin conjugated molecules.

Curved membranes are an essential feature of dynamic cellular structures, including endocytic pits, filopodia protrusions and most organelles. It has been proposed that specialized proteins induce curvature by binding to membranes through two primary mechanisms: membrane scaffolding by curved proteins
