General description
Atto Rho13 Biotin is a new rhodamine dye for application in life sciences, e.g. labeling of DNA, RNA or proteins. The label shows strong absorption, high fluorescence quantum yield, and high photostability. After coupling to a substrate Atto Rho13 Biotin carries a net electrical charge of +1.
The dye is moderately hydrophilic. Biotin conjugates can be used in applications like ELISA or immunohistochemistry, in situ-hybridization, flow cytometry and others, to identify streptavidin, avidin or extravidin-conjugates.
