Application

Phosphoric acid has been used in the preparation of anolyte, a constituent of the capillary isoelectric focusing (CIEF) solutions. It has also been used as a chemical oxidation reagent in flow injection analysis-chemical oxidation-isotope ratio mass spectrometry (FIA-CO-IRMS).

Other Notes

Concentrated phosphoric acid is approx. 85% H3PO4 (aqueous).
