General description
β-arrestin-1 is a scaffold protein that is highly expressed in the central nervous system. This adaptor protein regulates mitogenic signaling, and also mediates the desentization and internalization of G protein coupled receptors (GPCRs).
Rabbit Anti-phospho-β-Arrestin (pSer412) antibody detects mouse and rat β-arrestin-1. The antibody is also expected to react with human and cow antigens due to the high degree of homology (77%).
