Gene Information
human ... CDC25B(994)
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide directed towards the N terminal region of human CDC25B
Application
Anti- CDC25B (AB2) antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for western blotting at a concentration of 1 μg/ml. For immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded tissue sections, a concentration of 4-8 μg/ml is suitable.
Biochem/physiol Actions
CDC25 phosphatases regulate the progression of cell cycle. The activity of CDC25B is important for G2/M transition, cell migration, invasion and survival. The PKA/CDC25B pathway plays a crucial role in meiotic arrest of mouse oocytes. The activity of CDC25B is regulated by 14-3-3 proteins.
Physical form
Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer with 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 2% sucrose.
Other Notes
Synthetic peptide located within the following region: MEVPQPEPAPGSALSPAGVCGGAQRPGHLPGLLLGSHGLLGSPVRAAASS

Many conventional anticancer treatments kill cells irrespective of whether they are normal or cancerous, so patients suffer from adverse side effects due to the loss of healthy cells. Anticancer insights derived from cell cycle research has given birth to the

Cdc25 phosphatases are important regulators of the cell cycle. Their abnormal expression detected in a number of tumors implies that their dysregulation is involved in malignant transformation. However, the role of Cdc25B in renal cell carcinomas remains unknown. To shed

The protein kinase A (PKA)/Cdc25B pathway plays a critical role in maintaining meiotic arrest in mouse oocytes. However, the molecular mechanism underlying this interchange is not known. In this study, we assessed the role of 14-3-3ε interaction with phosphorylated Cdc25B
