Gene Information
human ... SLC22A11(55867)
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide directed towards the C terminal region of human SLC22A11
Application
Anti-SLC22A11 (AB1) antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for western blotting at a concentration of 1.0μg/ml.
Biochem/physiol Actions
SLC22A11 (Organic Anion Transporter 4, OAT4) is a membrane protein involved in sodium-dependent transport and excretion of organic anions. This protein is expressed mainly in placenta and in the kidney. A variant of the gene encoding OAT4 has been implicated in the development of a major gout subtype called renal underexcretion type gout.
Physical form
Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer with 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 2% sucrose.
Other Notes
Synthetic peptide located within the following region: ASSLVVLFFLPETQGLPLPDTIQDLESQKSTAAQGNRQEAVTVESTSL
