- quantitative precipitin assay
- indirect enzyme linked immunoassay (ELISA)
- development of nonimmune rabbit antiserum against chicken ovalbumin
Biochem/physiol Actions
Chicken/hen′s egg albumin or ovalbumin (OVA) is a major allergen found in egg white and is widely used in allergy research. It has been widely used to determine the characteristics of class II major histocompatibility complex (MHC)-peptide binding and T-cell activation.
