Preparation Note
IDMEM (I3390) + 2 mM L-Glutamine (G7513) + 5% FBS (F2442) + 100U/ml Penicillin + 100 ug/ml Streptomycin + 0.05 mM 2ME (M6250)
Passage cells approximately once every 2 weeks. Culture at 33 °C; 5-10% CO2. Cells are of heterogenous morphology, but the line has been cloned. Some cells adhere and others grow in suspesion. Cells are detached by short incubation in PBS plus 20mM EDTA, followed by washing in culture medium. Despite the cells slow growth, they can be highly diluted -growth does not depend on a minmum cell density.
