LIM1899 cell line human

Columnar cell adenocarcinoma of the colon. Cell Bank Australia reference number: CBA0163.

Optimal split ratio 1:8 (seeding density 1 x 10⁴ cells/cm²). Cells incubated at 37°C with 5% CO₂. Harvest the cells using 0.05% Trypsin/EDTA at 37°C for 5 min. LIM1899 requires the growth medium to be changed 3 times each week.

RPMI-1640 (with 2mM L-Glutamine + 25mM HEPES) + 10% FCS, Insulin 0.6 μg/ml, Hydrocortisone 1 μg/ml, 1-Thioglycerol 10 μM
