Human melanoma; from metastatic site - lymph node
Not specified
Preparation Note
RPMI 1640 (R0883) (with 2 mM L-Glutamine (G7513) + 25mM HEPES) + 10% FBS.
Optimal split ratio 1:4 (minimum seeding density 2.7 x 104 cells/cm2). Cells incubated at 37 °C with 5% CO2. Harvest the cells using 0.05% Trypsin/EDTA at 37 °C for 1-2 min. MM537 required growth medium to be changed 3 times each week. The cells are sensitive to trypsin so exposure time to trypsin should be kept to a minimum. The cells take 2-3 days to recover from trypsinisation.
