This monoclonal antibody showed strong neutralising activity against homologous IFN alpha-2. Cross-reactions with some h IFN alpha subtypes have been detected but no cross reaction with h IFN beta or gamma was shown.
Preparation Note
Maintain cultures between 1-5x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37 °C.
RPMI 1640 or DMEM + 2 mM glutamine + 7% Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS) (heat inactivated)
