The antibody is directed against β1 integrin CD29 of many species including human, cattle and sheep, and shows an identical pattern of reactivity as other anti β1 integrin antibodies e.g. TS2/16.
Preparation Note
IDMEM + 2mM glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)
Maintain cultures between 3-9x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C. Following resuscitation the serum concentration should be increased to 20% and the tissue culture flask incubated in an upright position for 4-7 days until the doubling rate increases.
