Mouse x Mouse hybridoma
The hybridoma line R1 has been obtained by fusion of the myeloma P3x63Ag8.653 and spleen cells from (C57Bl/6 x BALB/c)F1 female mice 3 days after a single i.p. injection of lymphoblastoid cells (LCL). The cell line Rebma, which is homozygous for HLA antigens A2, Bw60, Cw3 and DRw6 was used as LCL source. The antibody produced has been analysed in the International Histocompatibility Workshops 10 (1987; 10WS3086)and 11(11WS0936). R1 has been eradicated from mycoplasma using Cibrobay and is also known as R1A1.
