General description

The CELSTIR Spinner Flask is constructed from borosilicate glass 3.3 and is specifically designed for suspension cell culture applications with a magnetic stirrer. It features an adjustable paddle blade impeller for enhanced mixing, along with Magna-Flex™ impellers that are bulb-shaped to provide gentle stirring while maintaining a sterile environment, as the stirrer shaft does not protrude through the cap. The flask has a 1:1 headspace ratio for optimal gas exchange, and its bottom dimple design improves circulation and minimizes cell accumulation in the center. Additionally, the entire unit can be autoclaved at 121°C for effective sterilization.
