General description

HiTrap® Protein G HP columns are prepacked with Protein G Sepharose High Performance for fast, easy separations of IgG from different species and subclasses.
pH below 3 is sometimes required to elute strongly bound IgG species. However, protein ligands may hydrolyze at very low pH.

Features and Benefits

  • High binding capacity of 25 mg IgG/mL medium and fast binding kinetics.
  • 34 μm bead size for high performance, high-resolution purifications.
  • Binds broad range of different species and subclasses of IgG.
  • Simple and proven method giving reproducible results.
  • Designed for use with syringe, peristalic pump, or chromatography system.
