Application

Human Growth Hormone has been used as a supplement in mammalian cell culture research, including immune response studies and differentiation workflows involving pluripotent stem cell‑derived cell types.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Human growth hormone (HGH) is required for normal human growth and development. It increases muscle mass, promotes lipolysis, and reduces liver uptake of glucose. HGH mediates cellular responses primarily through stimulation of insulin‑like growth factor signaling pathways and has been widely studied in in vitro models of cell growth, metabolism, and differentiation.
