Other Notes

15(S)-Latanoprost is the less active C-15 isomer of latanoprost where the C-15 hydroxyl group is inverted relative to its natural (α) position in a prostaglandin such as PGF. The 15(S)-isomer of latanoprost occurs as an impurity of between 0.1 and 1% in most commercial preparations of latanoprost.
