Biochem/physiol Actions
LTBR (lymphotoxin β receptor) is a receptor for LIGHT (tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 14) and LT (lymphotoxin)-a1β2. It is present in the epithelial, stromal and myeloid cells. LTBR participates in lymphoid organ development and immune homeostasis. It is also involved in the lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-mediated expression of IL (interleukin)-8.
Physical form
Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in phosphate buffered saline.
Analysis Note
The biological activity is measured by the ability of the immobilized LTβR/Fc to bind LTα2/β1 and LTα1/β2 in a functional ELISA.
