Application

Met-Arg-Phe-Ala acetate salt has been used as an internal standard in the mass determination of the compounds by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS). It has also been used in comparing the laser energy used in nanostructure-initiator mass spectrometry (NIMS) and matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI).
A marker in an unambiguous method for sequencing tetrapeptides using FAB, MI, and collisional activation spectra in combination.
