Application

Mannose has been used in a study to assess the evolutionarily conserved glycan signal that degrades aberrant brassinosteroid receptors in Arabidopsis. It has also been used in a study to investigate preferences for uptake of carbohydrate-coated liposomes by C-type lectin receptors.
