Biochem/physiol Actions

β1-adrenoceptor antagonist; putative 5-HT1A serotonin receptor agonist; vasodilator. Pindolol is a non-cardioselective beta-adrenergic blocking agent. It possesses intrinsic sympathomimetic activity.
