It plays various functions like inducing interferon γ and B cell growth factor secretion as well as affecting the activation and proliferation of NK cells. It also has a vital role in modulating the expression of the IL-2 receptor and can facilitate B cell growth and differentiation. Monoclonal anti-Interleukin-2−R-Phycoerythrin antibody can be used in flow cytometry assays for identifying intracytoplasmic cytokines and for enumerating cytokine producing cells present in a mixed population.

The conjugates will identify and quantitate cells containing intracellular forms of human IL-2 by flow cytometry.

Solution in buffered saline containing 0.5% bovine serum albumin and 0.1% sodium azide.
