Biochem/physiol Actions

Porcine interleukin-8 (IL-8) is a cytokine, exhibiting inflammatory action in lungs. It is known to stimulate neutrophils, in response to lung damage. Increased levels of IL-8 is observed in fibroblasts, monocytes, and hepatocytes during inflammation.

General description

The Porcine IL-8 (chemokine, interferon γ-inducible T cell α chemoattractant) ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of porcine IL-8 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants and urine.
