General description
This ELISA antibody pair detects mouse Endothelial Cell-specific Molecule 1. Endothelial cell-specific molecule 1 (ESM1) is a secreted dermatan sulfate proteoglycan. This cysteine-rich protein is expressed in kidney glomeruli, specifically in renal epithelia and endothelial cells. Proangiogenic factors and cytokines modulate its activity.
Application
For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
Please refer to the attached General ELISA KIT Procedure (sandwich, competitive & Indirect ELISA)

Biochem/physiol Actions
Endothelial cell-specific molecule 1 (ESM1) may have a role in inflammation and angiogenesis. It has been linked to tumor growth. ESM1 stimulates vascular sprouting, growth, differentiation, migration and adhesion of cells.
