General description
Mouse polyclonal antibody raised against a full-length human TNS4 protein.
TNS4 (Tensin 4) is a signaling molecule localized in the prostate and placenta. It is a member of the TENSIN gene family. It has a Src homology 2 and phosphotyrosine-binding domains. Its expression has been observed in the early progression of melanoma cells.
Immunogen
TNS4 (AAH18706.1, 1 a.a. ~ 480 a.a) full-length human protein.

Application
Anti-TNS4 antibody produced in mouse is suitable for indirect immunofluorescence and western blot.
Biochem/physiol Actions
TNS4 (Tensin 4) is mainly involved in cell migration activity. It exhibits oncogenic property in colonic, breast, lung, and gastric cancers. In studies, its overexpression has been reported in the pancreatic cancer cells. In pancreatic cancer cells, TNS4 promotes colony formation and cell motility. It has been predicted that TNS4 could be a prognostic marker for primary melanoma.
