General description
Anti-GPR120 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total GPR120 protein.
GPR120 (G-protein coupled receptor 120) is also called as free fatty acid receptor 4 (FFA4). It is present in mature bone cells. It is located on human chromosome 12q24.
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human GPR120.
Immunogen Range: 221-270

Biochem/physiol Actions
GPR120 (G-protein coupled receptor 120) promotes bone formation and suppresses bone resorption, thereby it plays an important role in bone metabolism.

Free fatty acid receptor 4 (FFA4) has been reported to be a receptor for n-3 fatty acids (FAs). Although n-3 FAs are beneficial for bone health, a role of FFA4 in bone metabolism has been rarely investigated. We noted that
