General description
NTRK2 (neurotrophic tyrosine kinase receptor type 2) is also known as TRKB (tropomyosin receptor kinase B). It belongs to the Trk family of neurotrophin receptors. It is located on human chromosome 9q21.32.
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human Trk B around the phosphorylation site of Tyr515.
Immunogen Range: 481-530

Biochem/physiol Actions
In NB (neuroblastoma), NTRK2 (neurotrophic tyrosine kinase receptor type 2) controls the favorable and unfavorable clinical actions. It also controls the roles of glutamate receptor and synaptic plasticity in the amygdala.
