General description

Optibumin™ is the highest-purity low lipid recombinant albumin solution. Designed as a directreplacement for serum-derived HSA suitable for various applications includingcell therapy, drug formulation, and assisted reproductive technologies. ThisUSA-origin rHSA is animal-free.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Serum albumin functions as a carrier protein for steroids, fatty acids, and thyroid hormones. They are also vital in regulating the colloidal osmotic pressures of blood. It is added as an ingredient to classical and custom media formulations. Serum albumins protect the cells against physical or toxins-induced stress.
