Biochem/physiol Actions

Rosavin is a benzyl propylene based glycoside and is used in treating pulmonary fibrosis. Rosavin elicits inhibition of expression of tumor necrosis factor based apoptosis in Jurkat T cells.

Rosavin is a well-known glycoside antioxidant from Rhadiola rosea (Golden Root, or Arctic Root) that exhibits antidepressant, anxiolytic and adaptogenic properties.

Rosavin is an antidepressant and anxiolytic; antiapoptotic.
