General description
Peroxy orange 1 (PO1) is a H2O2-specific fluorescent probe. PO1 probe is non-trappable and highly permeable in nature.
Application
Peroxy orange 1 (PO1) has been used to detect H2O2 in RtSS (root to shoot silencing) and wild-type Columbia and in rci3-1 and rci3-2 mutants.
Biochem/physiol Actions
PO-1 is a cell-permeable fluorescent H2O2 sensor.
PO-1 is a cell-permeable fluorescent sensor that is highly selective for detecting the presence of H2O2 in living cells.
