PYZD-4409 inhibts ATP-dependent activation of human ubiquitin activating enzyme E1 with an IC50 of 20 mM. PYZD-4409 induces cell death, and inhbits clonogenic growth of leukemia and myeloma cell lines, and inhibits leukemia xenograft tumor growth in mice.
