Biochem/physiol Actions

Antibechic, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory
Farrerol is major bioactive component from Rhododendron dauricum L. (Man-Shan-Hong). Farrerol exhibits numerous activities including antibechic, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and inhibition of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMC) proliferation. Recent study shows that Farrerol regulates occludin expression by preventing H2O2-induced activation ERK 1/2 in human endothelium-derived EA.hy926 cells.
