Lafutidine is a second generation H2 histamine receptor antagonist.
Lafutidine is a second generation H2 histamine receptor antagonist. Lafutidine has been used clinically to treat ulcers and gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD). Lafutidine has also been investigated as a treatment against peripheral neuropathy and for its protective stomach effects during cancer chemotherapies and long term ibuprofen use.
