MSC-1186 (MSC2711186) is a potent and selective (SR)-rich splicing factor (SRSF) protein kinases (serine-arginine protein kinases) inhibitor (SRPK1/2/3 IC50 = 2.7/81/0.59 nM; SRPK2 Kd = 145 nM by ITC; selectivity assessed at 1 µM against 395 Kinases) with high cellular potency (SRPK1/3 IC50 = 98/40 nM by whole cell NanoBRET assay) and no activity towards CLKs or DYRKs (IC50 >10 µM).
