General description

IL-3 是一种物种特异性集落刺激因子，可刺激骨髓培养物中巨核细胞、中性粒细胞和巨噬细胞的集落形成。重组人IL-3是含有133个氨基酸残基的15.0kDa蛋白质。

Biochem/physiol Actions

白介素-3（IL2）是一种造血生长因子。编码它的基因位于人染色体5上。它在细胞增殖中起作用并激活不同的信号级联放大。它对于造血内皮祖细胞（EPC）的分化至关重要。IL-3刺激红细胞、肥大细胞和粒细胞的分化。该蛋白质与精神分裂症有关。
