General description

CALX8 is a soft proprietary detergent. CALX8 is an ionic calixarene based detergent with three polar carboxylic groups and an octyl chain.

Application

CALX8 is used for

  • Extraction of membrane proteins
  • Solubilization of membrane proteins
  • Stabilization of membrane proteins
