General description

“Nalgene” Oak Ridge High-Speed PPCO Centrifuge Tubes demonstrate superior chemical compatibility with a broader range of laboratory reagents compared to regular polycarbonate centrifuge tubes. Additionally, these PPCO tubes can be repeatedly autoclaved, ensuring prolonged and reliable performance.

Features and Benefits

  • Exhibits higher chemical resistance compared to polycarbonate tubes.
  • Can withstand repeated autoclaving, resulting in a longer lifespan compared to regular polycarbonate tubes subjected to the same conditions.
  • Includes polypropylene linerless closures, which are easy to clean and provide leakproof protection under normal conditions up to 10,000 x g.
  • The tubes are autoclavable and become leakproof when used with the provided Nalgene closure.

Other Notes

  • Tubes should be filled to a minimum of 80% capacity to ensure proper performance.
  • These centrifuge tubes are recyclable in numerous communities.
  • When the product reaches the end of its life, kindly wash and recycle your Nalgene PP and PPCO centrifuge tubes if recycling services are available in your area.
