General description
Conduct high-speed centrifugation of aggressive chemicals using Nalgene® Oak Ridge High-Speed Centrifuge Tubes made with PTFE® fluoropolymer and Closure made with Tefzel®, specifically suited for chloroform and phenol extractions.
Features and Benefits
- temperature range -100° to +150°C (-148° to +302°F).
- Leakproof† closures prevent material loss under ordinary use for most spins <10,000 × g.
- When equipped with a Nalgene® sealing cap assemblies30mL and 50mL tubes can be spun up to 50,000 x g.
- Must be filled to at least 100% total capacity for proper performance.
- Autoclavable/Biohazard/Leakproof† when used with supplied Nalgene® closure /PTFE FEP.
